Indonesia welcomes Brazilian proposal to enhance agricultural cooperation

Indonesia on Wednesday welcomed Brazil’s proposal to enhance agricultural cooperation during a food summit here.

Vice Finance Minister Any Ratnawati told audiences of the Jakarta Food Security Summit that Brazil is country that manages to maintain agricultural product availability while at the same time develop bio-fuel. “The Indonesian government opens the opportunity proposed by Brazilian Ambassador to Indonesia Paulo Alberto da Silva Soares. The cooperation could be handled by our ministry or Technical Ministry, in this case the Agriculture Ministry,” said Ratnawati.

She said the cooperation could be started with joint research cooperation.
