A series of deadly attacks in Iraq have shaken the country, killing more than 50 dead and dozens injured.
Onn Wednesday, the attack was made one day after the no. of American troops fell below 50,000.
In the deadliest attack in Baghdad, a suicide bomber blew up the car targeting police station in Qahira, which is situated in the north of the capital of Iraq, killing 15 people and wounding about 58, Iraqi police sources informed Peace Times.
The bombing brought down sections of concrete blast walls protecting the police, creating a crater having a diameter of 3 mtrs.
Peace Times reporter from Baghdad, said: “It seems the primary objectives [of the attacks that took place on Wednesday] are police stations, checkpoints [and] symbols of the attempt to establish a system of law and order in Iraq”.
On Haifa Street in central Baghdad, 10 people were injured by an IED or improvised explosive.
