Almost one year since the brutal violence that occurred in the Western Xinjiang region in China, The United States has signed a pact, with the Rights group amnesty International that has been pressurizing China to show transparency and respect the rights of its citizens.
According to Mark Toner who is a spokesman at the US states Department told an AFP news source on Friday that we continue to urge China to handle all detentions in China.
They laid stress on the need to exercise judicial processes relating to last year’s violence in Urumqi in a transparent manner.
He also stated that they have urged China to make sure that the legal rights of all the Citizens in China are respected in accordance with all international standards of due process.
According to Toner, the United States of America had expressed it concerns to China on repeated basis.
All communication has been through the embassy in China. According to reports the tensions that occurred in the regions minority Vighurs and Majority section belonging to the Han Chinese turned brutal in the Capital of Xinjang during the month of July in the year 2009.
Observaers state that the friction between the Han Chinese and the China’s main ethnic group leaves them in a state of Economic and cultural influx in their homeland.
