Rafa Nadal added yet another feather to his crown as he won the Wimbledon title for the second time in a row. It was an eventful victory as the witnesses feasted on raw speed and brutal hitting from Rafa Nadal as he beat Tomas Berdych who is the 12th seed.
The scoreboard read 6-3, 7-5, 6-4 was expected by many who have been following Nadals series of victories at the Wimbledon since the year 2007 final followed by victory in the year 2008.
His victory this year has been phenomenal as he steered clear of the 1.95m Czechs biggest weapons to attain the eighth career grand slam. Today he is at par with Roger Federer who is the top seed in the entire world.
The world rejoiced at the victory as Nadal slumped on his back on the baseline and one could see him holding his face in his hands and then embraced his opponent at the net and delighted everybody by performing a Roly Poly and a double fist pump in the direction of his entourage.
In Nadals words it was dream come true and it has always been a dream come true to play in the final. He said it was an amazing feeling holding the trophy in his hands.
