The Israeli army open fired when they identified few men swimming near the coast of Gaza strip, according to the Israeli Defense sources.With the fear that Palestinians divers would attack Israel,the latter carried out the firing.Four Palestinians were killed in the attack.

The bodies of the victims were later found by the hospital officials at Gaza.Apart from the four Palestinians killed, one was badly injured and another went missing.

Mohammed Dawwas said “I just talked to the commander of this group that belongs to the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade and he exactly told me these words: ‘They were not on any kind of mission. They were only in training, doing some training in the sea. That is all, exactly, what they were doing.’ That is what he said.

Air strikes were also carried out by Israel in Gaza, which killed Palestinians, alleging of rocket fire preparations into Israel.

There had been huge tensions after the air raids by Israel which also killed eight Turks activists and one American activist.

Around ten major naval officers and opposition questioned Israel’s ruthless air raid, thus increasing pressure on Israel, as published in a local Israeli newspaper.Few of them  also queried about the blockade of Gaza.
