Washington – The International Monetary Fund has decided to meet in Washington to vote on a $40 billion bailout for Greece, where the loan that has already been negotiated by the IMF with the European countries, is a part of the $140 billion rescue plan for the country.

Since the IMF has already decided to approve the loan, the European leaders too were meeting on Sunday to lay out the terms of the proposed bailout plan before the Asian markets reflect for the week.

According to analysts, the current debt crisis in Greece could well expand to other western European countries, and the country had already been coerced to take some severe economic measures to deal with the present economic situation that had sparked riots and social unrest in the country.
