Inspite of the inhuman blockade of Palestine by the Israel, three Turkish ships along with five other cargo and passenger ships are en route to Gaza strip carrying Essential aid for Palestinians. The fleet is sailing to the Gaza Strip with construction material and other aid to Palestinians. The ships intend to break an Israeli blockade which prevent even essential objects from reaching the needy of the Palestinian territory.The ships are carrying 10,000 tons of humanitarian aid and construction supplies and 700 activists to Gaza.
According the laws of the Geneva convention no country can stop a civilian or relief ship that goes to a place of war. Israel who has a track record of breaking all international laws and resolutions of United nations is being expected at least not to shoot down the ships. Ankara has already put Tel Aviv on notice that it will be watching very carefully the fate of the ships heading to Gaza. Observers warn a diplomatic storm could be brewing.
