While the protesters were rallying along the border with Israel, Israeli forces fired openly at protesters, killing a Palestinian teenager.

The boy killed was identified as a 19-year old Palestinian,called Moaweya Hassanein.

Gaza officials said that the Israeli troops open fired at protesters, and killed the Palestinian, near eastern Gaza strip and Israel.

Emergency services head of Gaza,has said, that the Israeli military shot the Palestinian protestor in the abdomen. He was taken to the hospital , but was identified as dead later.

The protest rally has been witnessed as being a peaceful crowd of protesters, carrying out a peaceful rally. Surprisingly, the Israel army disrupted the protest rally by their gunshots.This was recorded in a footage, released by human rights group,B’Tselem.

All the Palestinian protesters were unarmed, according to the footage.However,an Israeli spokeswoman,Tel Aviv said that “there were lit fires that potentially could have damaged and reached the security fence”.

“The Israeli army has been investigating the incident” she added.

The idea behind the protest was to stop the establishment of the zone, that prevented Palestinian farmers to use their farms. The Palestinians believed that their huge farms were possessed by Israelis.
