Although Thaksin Shinawatra, the former Thailand prime minister, refused to be with Hun Sen, Cambodian prime minister, during his survey to the disputed Thai-Cambodia border this weekend; implementing it seems to be quite doubtful.

Thaksin said on his twitter that the Anti-Thaksin people Alliance for Democracy’s (PAD) leader, Veera Somkwamkid, was the one who was spreading such lies around. He asserted that he is in Dubai which about 7 hours flight from Cambodia.

PAD’s leader Veera said that he would protest the visit of Hun Sen in the land which is claimed by both Cambodia and Thailand.

This visit is a regular one along the border and would not raise any tensions in the area, assured the commander.

The diplomatic relations between Cambodia and Thailand got a blow when Hun Sen appointed Thaksin as his adviser.
