After several days of the centers announcement of a new Telangana state, there has been protest by the Andra and Rayal seema. Several Andra and rayal seema’a ministers have resigned and few Andra’s MP’s have gone for a hunger strike.

There is pressure on the central government from both the sides, one wanting a new Telangana state while the other against any separation . On Wednesday Chidambaram said it will consider all views for a separate Telangana state only if there was peace and tranquility in the Andra Pradesh state. He also stressed that it will be possible, taking majority in to consideration.

On this TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Roa reacted immediately to the centers backtracking on telangana issue and gave his resignation to the Lok Sabha speaker on Wednesday. He said MP’s, MLA’s and other representative elected will all resign .

Mr. Roa has kept a press conference at the residence of Jana Reddy who is a member of Congress party. He said “There is no clarity or time frame fixed. In the name of consensus will they take 150 years? How much time they are going to take (for creating Telangana)?”

He has called for a 48 hours band from thursday evening. Roa has been telling that they were betrayed once again by the the center.

A meeting is been organized on Thursday in which leaders from the surrounding region will form a joint Action Committee to resolve this issue and decide there further actions.

“We will submit our resignation from gram panchayat to municipality to MLA right up to MPs,We will never compromise on the Telangana statehood demand. We will fight until we achieve Telangana,” he said.

He called for a 48 hours bandh that starts on thursday and addressed to the students and all the people to make it successful and he also appealed to the students not to take any harsh decisions and get emotional.

He blamed the Rosiah government to be biased towards the telangana issue soon after Chidambaram’s announcement by imposing section 144 prohibiting crowds in public places in the entire region and not stopping TDP and Praja Rajyam demonstrations.

He said “We demand that Rosaiah take back section 144. Otherwise the partial attitude will ignite people in Telangana”.

If all the Telangana MLAs resign then the Rosaiah government will become minority.
