India is now planning to test fire Agni-5 the long range nuclear capable missile in 2011, thus posing a serious threat to India, said a leading Chinese Newspaper.

Agni 5 missiles have a range of reaching Harbin, China’s northernmost city. This development comes amidst the much heated atmosphere between the two countries. This announcement came just 2 days after china claimed its rights over Arunachal Pradesh.

Agni-5, which can strike a range of 5,000km is similar to china’s Dongfeng-31A. It is also highly mobile and can easily be transported via roads to any place.

Lately a number of Chinese newspapers have shown their disapproval of India’s stance through their articles.
