English footballer, David Beckham was detained at Los Angeles airport for nearly three hours. He sit there watching as his bags were thoroughly searched.

On Thursday, Beckham flew from London only to have detained at the LA airport where he was very angry to see how he was treated, reported Sun online. The 34 year old football player could only look helplessly as he was being frisked.

Sources say that he even spit out anger and asked the security officials to do something about this, only to see that they could not help it.

At Wembley previous night, Beckham played for England against Belarus. Afterwards he went out with his friend Dave gardner to celebrate till 3 am.

He plays for England national team as well as American Major League soccer club LA Galaxy. He has been staying in US with his wife, the former Spice girl Victoria Beckham and his two sons.
