At least three blasts have been recorded in the Iraqi city of Karbala , the Police officials and the medical officials have said that around 8-10 people have been killed in these blasts which started on Wednesday after the evening prayers.

A resident of karbala exclaims that “The attacks took place near the shrines of al-Abbas and al-Hussein!!”.The first blast was triggered around the time of evening prayer which took place near the first sanctuary and then two more explosions followed after that near the second sanctuary.These two major sanctuaries count the city of karbala as one of the shia’s holiest places.

The sources said that at-least 40 people could have sustained injuries in these blasts and several cars on fire and number of buildings are reported to be severely damaged.The Karbala hospital confirms the casualty report.

Even-though US committed thousands of extra troops there is no answer as to how to shore up these attacks which continue to this day from the day US invaded Iraq.
