The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh took off in the  7-seater Bell 430 chopper for chittor district at 8:30 this morning. he was travelling with his chief security officer and his special secretary.

At around 9:30 the air traffic control officials lost conact with the chopper when it was over kurnool district.

Since then no contact had been established till late afternoon, 7 helicopters and 600 CRPF jawans have been deployed for the search and rescue operation.

And now, even the army and police forces from 6 districts, ISRO and anti-naxal forces are all involved in the operation.
