In an Interview with CNN, Politician turned former Pakistan Cricketer, Imran Khan appealed for a ‘Swath Model’ agreement in Afghan from US side. He pointed out that , like the Pak Government had implemented Shari’a in Swath as per the demand from the people there,  US also should engage in a similar agreement with the people of Afghanistan.

Military action is not a solution for anything. it will not take you anywhere, except for killing innocent people. Imran criticized US policies in strong words. He also warned that, it is dangerous for Obama Government to follow the same foot steps of Bush Administration regarding Afghanistan. US should try for a peace agreement with Taliban that is just and mature. He also quoted Afghan President Hamid Karsai’s statement that, Discussion is the only way to resolve the problems in Afghanistan.

Talibans are fundamentalists but they are not terrorists, he added. Taliban is not involved in any kind of violence. America should not add Taliban along with Al-Qaeda. America should learn the passions and History of Afghan people.

Imran appealed US government to immediately stop the air strikes in Pakistan borders. He pointed out that this in not the ‘better Governance’ that Obama had promised. He reminded that earlier Britain had agreed that Military action is never a solution to the problems of Afghan. US also should understand this.
