Annoyed by the behavior of some members in Lok Sabha, Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said “You do not deserve one paisa of public money”. This was when the members of several political parties disrupted the question hour by storming to the well of Lok Sabha raise several issues.
“I think Parliament should be adjourned sine die … public money should not be spent on useless allowances for you,” he said while some members of the BSP, BJP, TDP, RPI, PMK and MDMK parties stormed the Well by raising slogans against the government on several issues. “You are behaving in the most condemnable manner. I express my greatest annoyance and condemnation”, he added
PMK and MDMK members were demanding the government to take action to stop the war against Tamils in Srilanka. TDP members were raising the Satyam Issue. BSP condemned the government for not considering the “Daliths” in the new draft legislation on Universities introduced in the House.
The speaker added that he hoped a “fit verdict” will be given to such members by the people of India in the coming elections.
You are a very good person Somnath da. Many of our leaders whom we have elected are behaving like animals in temple of democracy. SO I, hereby, appeal the people of India to cast your vote against them and every voter should cast his/her vote. And please choose whom you think will develop the country.
