If there is political action and will to do so, the hate attacks on North Indians can easily be stopped, ruled the supreme court here on Tuesday.

The observation came about when North Indians sought for protection from being attacked by MNS, led by Raj Thackeray.

People have to get educated and that political powers should have the will to stop this. Court order would not come into effect unless everyone realises what s wrong and whats right, said the supreme court.

The court hearing is postponed to November 10th as it is willing to accept the petition again since its a serious matter. The petitioner was given clue to amend his petition to seek directions under Article 355 which says that central government can interfere in state government’s activities if there is riots in the state.
