Unearthing another incident of carelessness and immature behavior from Police, the Hisar police chased and shot dead a 22 year old youth, who they thought to be a gangster. This incident comes as a shock amidst the ongoing fake encounter cases running in various courts across the country against the Police.

Kuldeep, a young man, who became the victim of mistaken identity, was on his way with a friend on their bike. They were drunk when police tried to stop them. When they saw police stopping them, out of general fear of getting caught for drinking, they turned and started running.

A group of police men chased them and shot dead one of them while other escapted. The boys had no clue what was in store for them. There was absolutely no need of shooting down anyone.

A case has been registered against 8 policemen. Police tried defending themselves and said that they were looking for a notorious gangster near Bhiwani. As a part of search, these boys were being stopped. Since they did not cooperate, police men thought them to be gangster.

Recent history has shown such unacceptable and irresponsible behvior of police men in controlling crime. Of course apart from being corrupt to the core.
