America’s war on Iraq has returned heavy resistance from majority of american citizens right from the start. With the global financial crisis, which was initiated by the credit shortage in United States, has once again brought this issue in the headlines. However, due to the much hyped Financial situation of US, this issue of war has been put in the back seat.

But the families of many soldiers have not yet decided to quit. They are fighting with the government to get back their children from the war zone back to their country. There are several american parents whose children are fighting a useless battle in iraq say that initially we thought this war was just. But later when things turn wrong, we realised that the war option was wrong right from the start.

Many families have put their demands to the government the moment they realised this fallacy. “After 9/11, every body wanted to see terrorist getting captured. But in reality, this war had nothing to do with Terrorist. It was all Oil game”, says Elaine whose 27 year old son is fighting war in syrian border.

The percentage of sentiments towards considering this war to be wrong has tremendously increased in the past few years. Thats when everybody realised that its time to bring a Democratic President so that he may pull them out of this mess.

War on Iraq has brought heavy downfall in the economy of United states. Trillions of dollars have been spent in war. Even though Barack Obama won the Democratic primaries with promises to end the war, managers of the campaign have now started to link war with economy. Talks about reducing cost from war and putting a relief to the economy is going on. But yet, no end to war.

Amidst all this, the ones who suffer are the families of soldiers and the poor iraq civilians who live in the fear of getting killed each day.
