The encounter specialist of Delhi Police succumbed to his injuries at the hospital in the evening today. Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma, who was one of the well known encounter specialists of police force received three bullet injuries during a shoot out that took place in the capital place.

“He was bleeding pretty badly and received bullets in his abdomen, thigh and right arm”, said one of the Doctors who tried their best to save him.

He was also in very bad shape when he was brought to the Holy Family hospital where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.

The Joint commissioner of Police, special cell, said that they lost one of their best man. “He was one of our bravest officers” added the JCP. Inspector Mohan Chand Sharma had “encountered” 35 “Terrorists” in his career and also said to have helped in pinning down those criminals who were responsible for attack on Parliament.

He is survived by 2 children, a son and a daughter. The questions and suspicion on encounters have been around for a decade now. There are several pending cases in the courts regarding this encounters being Fake.

Many theories are rising up with the claims made by the residents of Jamia Nagar. Why were the Police officers not wearing Safety Jackets because one of the bullet hit the abdomen which wouldn’t have happened if safety jacket was on? Probably they tried to fake the drama and accidentally some real terrorists turned out in the place? How can most of the witnesses in the area claim that it was completely fake encounter and that the men who were claimed to be terrorist are only students of Jamia university?

Although one cannot deny that such brave policemen perform very well in the line of duty, however, there are several more of them who are highly corrupt and end up doing fake encounters to attain accolade.
