Maharashtra & Gujurat were rocked by low intensity blasts on Monday night which left 2 dead and 20 injured. These Blasts come as a surprise, even though investigations of the previous blasts in delhi are going on.

The blast took place in the busy area of Malegaon where people, mostly Muslims, were shopping for the upcoming Eid Festival. There was huge chaos after the blast and police had to fire in air to control the situation.

The Blast took place at around 9: 30 pm, which was a busy time for the shoppers. It is believed that bomb was placed on a Two Wheeler.

In another incident, blast took place in the minority dominated locality in the Modassa town of Gujarat’s Sabarkantha District. Here too it is supposed the bomb was planted on a two wheeler. The Home ministry said that there were not intelligence report prior to the blasts.

No outfit has yet claimed these blasts. It is suspected that since the blasts happened in Muslim dominated areas, Hindu Terrorist organizations like RSS, Bajrang Dal etc could be behind it. Since most of the recent blasts have been claimed by the Indian Mujahideen, there is a possibility that this could be their plan of action.

Things would not clear up unless proper investigation would be carried out. Home ministry have brought in enquiry into these incidents.
