Gujarat Police has brought Abu Basher, the key accused in Ahmedabad Blasts, to the capital city in order to interrogate further regarding possible links with other groups. There are others who are wanted for the Delhi Blasts whose leads can be obtained from basher, said the police.

It is believed by police, although having no evidence, that Abu Basher stayed in the same house where the other “alleged” “asterminds Abdus Subhan Qureshi who is “supposed” to be known by the alias “Tauqeer” is also wanted in the Delhi blasts case.

Abu Basher, who is a SIMI activist, was caught last month in connection with Ahmedabad Serial Blasts in Uttar Pradesh. The Gujarat Police “alleges” that he was also the master mind behind the terror attack in lumbini park in Hyderabad.

The “Gujarat police story” says that Basher, who also taught in Hyderabad based madrassa for nearly two years from 2005 had stated during the interrogation that he had lived with Tauqeer in a house in zakir nagar in July.

He is also “accused” by gujarat police of emailing on behalf of the terror  group called Indian Mujahideen from mumbai.
