Pakistan, a country torn by violence and misunderstanding within it, has once again seen a twist in its old tale. Earlier president Pervez Musharraf under his rule had sacked 60 judges on various accounts and which was much criticized by many.

On Wednesday, 8 judges out of 60 were reinstated back after the much pressure and appeals from influential lawyers movement which demanded reinstatement of all 60 judges at once.

After Nawaz Sharif pulled out from ruling coalition blaming the ally of not keeping the promise of restoring the sacked judges, the PPP led government reinstated 8 judges of high court in sindh. Anwar zahir Jamali was sworn in as the new Chief justice of high court. Others took oat in governor’s house in karachi, sources reported.

This move marks the begining of the process to restore back all those who were sacked. However, Justice Iftikhar M chaudhary is not into picture yet and no word has been raised regarding his reinstatement. The sindh High court strength of judges has been increased from 28 to 40, the permission granted by the government.

Its high time that Pakistan spends more time in building its on country than poking its nose into others affairs.
