Telugu superstar, Chiranjeevi, announced that he will be entering politics now and would dedicate his life for serving the poor and needy in the society. Chiranjeevi has a huge fan following who number in lakhs.
They were more than happy when he addressed them asking them to wish him good luck for the same. He appealed to his fans that all the capable candidates may plan to join his party with the intention of only serving the poor.
His fans plan to travel all the way from different parts of the country on his 53rd birthday. chiranjeevi requested all of them to stay in their own places and work towards the betterment of their respective cities. Though people were curious about his decision on entering politics, He finally broke his eight month silence this sunday.
Chiranjeevi is one of the greatest actors produced by the film industry. He has a 30 years of acting career with about 138 films under his belt. He considered the God of acting in the south where his overwhelming fan following is astonishing.
Talking to the reporters he said that it was A P J Abdul Kalam who had advised him to look above the film career and hence join politics to serve the country. His inspiration was also N T Rama Rao who too was a superstar in film industry at his time.
He had stormed into politics and within a span of 9 months, he came to power as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. It was mainly due to his fan following.
Other political parties fear that the fan following that Chiranjeevi has can easily bring him into power within no time. However, time only will prove what is in store next for Chiru!
