BJP, best known to criticize everything, decided to go ahead with their nation wide protest over the Amarnath land transfer row, even though the government requested it to rethink about the same. A nation wide agitation was planned over this controversial issue by the BJP leaders. Talking to the media, one of the spokesperson said that it is an issue of Mathrubhoomi, and hence we will not stay quite.
Party sources reported that even though a pretty long meeting was in progress about whether the protest should be carried out or not, they decided to give a green signal to this agitation against the issue. Government had formally asked BJP to drop all the plans of agitation so that a dialogue process could be initiated and a particular decision could be agreed upon.

The meeting was held at L K Advani’s residence, the opposition leader. The attendees included Rajnath Singh, General Secretary Sushma Swaraj, Jaitley and other leaders which included Joshi too. In addition to BJP, which plans to conduct a low profile agitation, RSS on the other hand wants to go violent. RSS says that already a lot of blood has been spilled for this issue and we cannot look back anymore.

Its surprising that instead of resorting to peaceful procedures to resolve issues, BJP and allies prefer violent methods which could even result in physical harm to people. The AAM AADMI always suffers!
