The BSP supremo, Ms Mayawati, is considered the most potential future candidate for Prime Minister by the third front parties like Telangana Rashtra Samiti and Telugu Desam. There has been amazing developments in the past few weeks which gave Mayawati a stance to ousted the current Prime Minister over the Indo-Us Nuclear deal that sparked a new wave of politics in India. As Prime Minister Manmohan Singh drags harder and harder to prove his majority, there is a possibility that if government fails show its confidence vote in Lok Sabha on this tuesday, then all these smaller parties would push Mayawati to become the next interim prime minister of India.

However, current government seems to have a slight edge over the opposition. There has been immense hard talk between opposition leader L.K Advani and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, where Advani went to the extent of proposing change of government with immediate effect. Well this fortunate push to Mayawati’s profile is no doubt a twist in the tale. She should surely be thankful to CPI(M) general secretary, Mr. Prakash Karat, who on Sunday morning drove to her house and raised her profile in the present battle. But this can only help her if there are polls in the country again.

But at the end of the day its the dynamic Mayawati who has come out to be a winner in this complete mess. Though cunning herself, she sure knows ways to come up among the other colleagues. Her statements and speeches have nearly sparked waves of criticism in the past. Imagine her to be a Prime Minister of India!
